Request data deletion

Last updated October 11, 2026

You can request deletion of your Arcada Community account or particular information you contributed to the Bebow Manure Pit Project. You do not need to sign in to make a request.

Email the organizer: greening+arcada@gmail.com

Use the subject “Arcada Community data deletion request.” The organizer handles requests manually; this page does not delete data automatically.

Start a deletion request

What to include

  1. Send your request from the email address you use for this site, when possible. Tell us whether you use Google, Facebook, or both.
  2. State whether you want to delete your entire account and its submissions, or only particular observations, reports, photos, or documents.
  3. For individual records, include their titles, approximate dates, or links so the organizer can find them.

If you cannot access your account email, explain that in your message. The organizer will discuss another way to verify your request. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or access tokens.

What happens next

The organizer will review your request, verify account ownership when necessary, and clarify which records you want to remove. The organizer will reply with the next steps and expected timing, then confirm completion or explain any limitation. Sending an email alone does not complete deletion.

For a verified full-account deletion request, the organizer will remove your account email, linked Google and Facebook identifiers, active sessions, member submissions, and their attachments from the active site. If both providers link to your account, full-account deletion covers both sign-in methods. You can also ask about unlinking a single provider while keeping your account.

Public records and copies

The existing public gallery and agency-report documents do not automatically link to member accounts. If your request concerns those materials—or personal information someone else submitted—include the relevant links and details so the organizer can review them separately.

The organizer cannot remove copies that other members downloaded or records held by agencies, Google, Meta, or other third parties. Hosting providers may retain recovery copies for their retention period. If a legal obligation requires us to retain particular information, the organizer will explain the reason and scope in the response.

Google and Facebook access

You can also remove the app’s access through your Google or Facebook account settings. That step stops the provider connection but does not itself delete this site’s account or archive records. Email the organizer to request deletion here. Deleting your Arcada Community account does not delete your Google or Facebook account.

If you sign in again after account deletion, the app can create a new account. See our privacy policy for details about data use and access.
